MASFPS Community of Practice Workshop Series
Calling all Educators: Embracing the future of learning together! The Community of Practice Workshop Series is a four part opportunity for professional learning with colleagues from around the state. There are four virtual sessions to collaborate together about the future of learning, what it can look like for K-12 students, and how to enhance what is currently being done in schools to engage students. The focus of these sessions will be to share research, discuss findings and implications in districts and to problem solve how to move the needle in education to meet the needs of all students.
AUDIENCE:
Directors of State and Federal Programs; Finance Directors; District Leaders, Building Leaders, Continuous Improvement Leaders, Teachers, Instructional Coaches and all educators
OUTCOMES:
1. Learn what research says is the future of learning
2. Learn about best practices and resources that support them
3. Learn about emerging trends in education
4. Explore potential partnerships that enhance the future of education
DATES:
Session 1 - October 16, 2024 ~ 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Session 2 - December 11, 2024 ~ 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Session 3 - March 5, 2025 ~ 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Session 4 - May 7, 2025 ~ 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
LOCATION:
Each Session will be virtual using Zoom. The zoom links will be emailed to each registrant prior to the session.
SCECHS:
Each session will offer participants a total of 2.75 SCECHs.
COST:
$500 for the full series per participant
